The Specialized Gastroenterology Diagnostics Center in Białystok was established in 1998, based on the Private Gastroenterology Clinic founded by Dr. Orest Hnidec in 1983. The center employs a team of gastroenterologists from the Department of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine of the Provincial Hospital in Białystok, the Department of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine of the Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Białystok, the Second Clinic of General Surgery at the Medical University of Białystok, and the Surgical Department of the Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Białystok. The doctors and nurses employed at the Center have many years of professional experience, confirmed by certificates of competence, and regularly participate in new training.
